Voice agent, callbot, AI receptionist: what's the difference?None here: they're three names for an AI that answers instead of a switchboard. Ours answers with what you taught it, instead of making the caller press 1 or 2.
Do I have to change my number? No. You keep your number and your carrier. We open a line for the agent, and you forward your number to it, depending on your carrier's options. You can turn forwarding off whenever you like.
Can it transfer the call to someone?Yes, live, to a landline or a mobile. The person called hears the reason and the caller's number, and takes the call by pressing 1. If nobody picks up, the agent takes the call back, writes down the message or says someone will call back, and your team gets a “Callback request” email. Minutes spent on the line with your team are free.
What's left of each call? Its transcript and its summary, in the console, next to your written conversations. A webhook can send them to your CRM or spreadsheet.
Can it book appointments?Yes, in your Calendly calendar: it reads the truly free slots, offers two or three, repeats the slot, name, number and reason, then books. It doesn't send text messages, but the caller gets an email confirmation if they give their address. If no slot suits them, your team gets a callback request.
What doesn't it do?It answers incoming calls: it doesn't call your customers and doesn't send text messages. There's no voicemail: when nobody can take the call, it writes down the message itself, in the console.
What about your data?Transcripts and summaries stay in your DaleVoz workspace. The application and its database are hosted in the Netherlands, with Railway (europe-west4-drams3a region, Amsterdam), inside the European Union. The call goes through the carrier Twilio, and the voice is produced by AI models from US providers. The list of subprocessors is in our privacy policy.
